Writers SIG
Welcome Statement
The Writers Special Interest Group, or Writers SIG, is open to any current APG member. Writing experience is not necessary to join. The SIG is open to all beginners, intermediate, advanced, professionals, and those who don’t like writing. We welcome anyone who enjoys learning.
Meetings
The Writers SIG meets on the third Wednesday of every month, at 8 PM EST, unless previously announced. The SIG does not meet in December.
Membership
APG membership is a prerequisite for joining the Writers SIG. SIG dues are $20 and run annually, renewals will sync with your APG national dues.
Educational and Networking Membership Benefits
- Monthly meetings and presentations on a wide variety of writing topics
- The SIG board does its best to open the meeting 30 minutes before the start of the scheduled start time for networking opportunities.

- Writers SIG Peer Review Group (Please note, this is not a mentorship program.)
Recorded Presentations
Can’t attend the meeting? Most presentations are recorded and can be watched at your leisure; most are available for one year. Any presentation not being recorded will be indicated prior to the meeting. Recordings can be accessed via a private password required website; the SIG asks that you do not share this information.
