I am an Accredited Genealogist® with over a decade of experience helping individuals and families discover, document, and understand their ancestry. I have worked professionally since 2020 and specialize in United States genealogy, including Colonial U.S. research, the Southwest region, African American genealogy, and genetic genealogy. I also conduct international research in records from the United Kingdom, Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland), Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Philippines. When traditional records fall short, I use DNA analysis to break through brick walls, identify unknown parentage, and strengthen family connections.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Family History and Genealogy from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and I am an Accredited Genealogist® through ICAPGen (International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists) in the Southwest United States region (Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, New Mexico, and Arizona). My research experience includes both in-depth, long-term projects and focused research questions for private clients, as well as institutional work such as my involvement with the Century of Black Mormons Project.

I am also an experienced speaker and educator and have presented at major genealogy conferences, including RootsTech (2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025), the Heartland Genealogy Conference, and the Utah Genealogical Society. In addition, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG). I am committed to providing clients with clear communication, thorough documentation, and research they can trust. If you have a genealogical question, a challenging research problem, or a family mystery you are ready to explore, I would be happy to help.
