I will research your family tree, then write a narrative that helps you get to know more about your people. And there’s nothing I enjoy more than introducing you to ancestors you've never heard of.
One of my areas of focus is researching people through newspapers. Articles in newspapers can provide information that a census (taken every ten years) simply can’t. I do this work when I am building a tree.
However, I’m also willing to search newspapers for articles about your ancestors, using your existing tree. My research will enhance your work and expand your understanding of your ancestor’s lives.
Please send me an email, and tell me how I can help you with your project! An initial 30-minute consultation is free.

- Testimonials
- “Until recently, I didn’t fully understand the importance of knowing my ancestors and the details of my family history. Kathleen’s amazing, detailed work revealed information I didn’t have, and provided new contexts for the stories I did know. I’m grateful to Kathleen for her diligent sleuthing and her consistently heart-centered narratives -- not every genealogist is also a good writer. Discovering the interconnections between my relatives’ past and my present life creates a bridge to the future, benefitting my children and the next generations to come.”
