Heather has been researching her family history for over 25 years. She worked as a federal program auditor where she developed her research and analytical skills. Using that experience, she researches our ancestors' financial footprints across the United States. She has traced her own family through Missouri, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Virginia, Kentucky, and Canada.
She also researches the history of currency in the United States and how it affected our ancestors. As a result, she has a strong interest in researching the colonial times.
She currently serves as the president for the Johnson County Genealogical Society & Library. She is also a member of the National Genealogy Society and the Association of Professional Genealogists.
She holds a master's degree in Accounting and Finance and a Professional Learning Certificate in Genealogical Studies: American Records from the International Institute of Genealogical Studies.
