I am a professional genealogist based in West Wales. I am able to conduct some types of research, particularly from the 19th Century onwards, for all English and Welsh counties.

I enjoy the challenge of hunting down elusive ancestors and am able to utilise my postdoctoral level research skills to solve complex genealogical problems.

I can help with tasks such as:
  • Starting a family tree - perhaps as a gift
  • Overcoming a brick wall
  • Interpreting a DNA result
  • Investigating a family story
  • Analysing a document
  • Extending an existing family tree
  • Finding the correct ancestor from amongst the plethora of individuals with the same name (a common problem in Wales)

- "[The report is] well-researched and detailed, showing a deep understanding of the historical context and the complexities of 18th-century wills"

- "You’ve consulted a wide range of sources, and you’ve made your document references very clear. There’s so much variety in the experiences of [the] family members, and you’ve done really well to capture so many stories."
