I am based in West Wales but am able to conduct some types of research, particularly from the 19th Century onwards, for all English and Welsh counties.

I enjoy the challenge of hunting down elusive ancestors and am able to utilise my postdoctoral level research skills to solve complex genealogical problems.

I regularly update my genealogical knowledge with professional development courses from Pharos Tutors and from the Society of Genealogists.

I can help with tasks such as:

• Investigating a family story
• Analysing a document
• Extending an existing family tree
• Finding the correct ancestor from amongst the plethora of individuals with the same name (a common problem in Wales)
