I am a professional genealogist specializing in complex research problems, including long-standing brick walls, early American ancestry, and cases involving missing, conflicting, or difficult-to-interpret evidence. Many of my projects combine documentary research and DNA analysis to address questions that resist traditional approaches.
Much of my work begins in the Midwest—particularly Ohio and Indiana—and frequently expands beyond regional boundaries as families, migration patterns, and records lead elsewhere. I regularly work with research spanning multiple states and time periods, following evidence wherever it leads.
My work emphasizes careful source evaluation, clear reasoning, and ethical handling of sensitive information. I work with clients who value accuracy, documentation, and transparency over quick or speculative conclusions.
