I am a genealogical and historical researcher with more than 20 years of experience exploring family histories through genealogical records, archival collections and historical sources.  With a B.S. in History and a concentration in Local History research, I have a particular interest in placing individuals and families within the broader context of the communities and historical events that shaped their lives.

My research interests include local and community history, New England and Pennsylvania research, 18th and 19th century family history, and African-American genealogy and history.  I especially enjoy working with documentary evidence to uncover family relationships, trace migration and community connections and develop a fuller understanding of the lives represented in the historical record.
