Profession:
Active genealogical researcher and jurist; founder and CEO of EverGens Europe Ltd., a Hungarian genealogical and citizenship services company.
Geographical Areas of Research:
Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and the broader Central European region.
Discipline of Research and Professional Activities:
Genealogy (Hungarian noble, urban civilian, and Jewish family histories), historical demography, archival studies, local and regional history, Judaica provenance research, and the provision of comprehensive citizenship services.
Proficiency in Research:
Fourteen years of research experience.
Extensive archival and online research proficiency, supported by a professional network of archivists and trained specialists across Central Europe.
Paleographic competence in Latin, German, Hebrew, and Hungarian source materials.
Research Achievements:
I have traced my paternal Jewish lineage—the Eckstein, later Erdős family—back to the first half of the 19th century in what is now Slovakia.
My paternal grandmother’s line, the Szent-Ivány family—an established Hungarian noble lineage—has been documented back to the 13th century.
Current Research Directions:
Ongoing investigations into Central European Jewish communities, as well as both noble and non-noble genealogies of historic Hungary, together with the provenance and restitution of genealogically significant Judaica removed from Hungary. Current work focuses on cross-border archival reconstruction and community-level historical contexts.
Surnames Researched:
