I am a professional Italian genealogist and a native of Friuli (friulano), founder of Studio Esistenze. With a deep, firsthand knowledge of my local territory, I specialize in the archives and family history of the Friuli region, while also providing comprehensive nationwide research across Italy through a trusted network of local contacts.
My journey into genealogy began with reconstructing my own family roots in Puglia, which drove me to master the discipline through formal courses at the Istituto Araldico Genealogico Italiano (IAGI). Coming from a professional background in IT and web development, I combine rigorous historical research with advanced digital organization, ensuring that complex genealogical data is delivered clearly, securely, and in a highly accessible format.
I conduct all research strictly following the Genealogical Proof Standard (GPS). Every piece of data is supported solely by verifiable primary sources. My strategic approach prioritizes alternative historical, state, and parish archives to bypass the high administrative fees often imposed by municipal offices (Comuni).
I work with clients worldwide, providing:
-
A complimentary preliminary feasibility analysis to assess research potential upfront
-
Specialized on-site research in the Friuli region, alongside nationwide coverage
-
Document retrieval
-
Scientific reconstruction of complex family lineages and comprehensive family trees
While my methodology is strictly scientific, I listen to every family story with deep empathy and respect. My ultimate mission is to restore dignity and memory to forgotten existences, reconnecting people with the truth of their origins.
