LaDonna Garner, M.A.
is a Historic Consultant — Professional Genealogist & Historic Preservationist — focused on historical preservation and genealogical research from her home base in Southeast Missouri. She instructs and lectures on both subjects at colleges, conferences, libraries, and society events. Garner is an active member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (former Board Member and Professional Development Chair) and assists numerous organizations in volunteer and leadership capacities.
Researching her family history for over 30 years, she is passionate about recording historic minority communities and cemeteries, genealogy education, archive & public record access, protecting our landscapes through historic preservation, and cemetery restoration.
