Verity Johnson is a Northern Utah–based genealogist specializing in archival record retrieval and targeted research at the FamilySearch Library. She provides on-site record lookups for researchers worldwide, accessing materials not available online, including microfilm, published volumes, and specialized in-house collections.

She also conducts research at other Utah repositories, including BYU Special Collections in Provo, and is available for travel within the region for archival research and document retrieval.

Her broader research experience includes probate, land, census, vital, and church records across the United States, Scotland, and Canada.

Verity currently serves as a Course Grading Lead for FHGEN 340: Genealogical Writing at BYU-Pathway Worldwide and is “on the clock” for the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG). She is available for on-site record retrieval and focused research projects
