Start with research for own ancestors in Bavaria and Silesia (nowadays Poland) in 1979 (back to late 14th century with paternal ancestry in Upper Franconia). Profound knowledge of history in northern Bavaria (Franconia and Upper Palatinate). Study of chemistry (Bayreuth University) and occupation in chemical industry and in plastics processing industry. Begin of genealogical contract research in 2010 with a lot of satisfied clients mainly from the English speaking countries. Member of the Association of German-speaking professional Genealogists since 2012. Full-time genealogist since 2014.

Genealogical research in Franconia and Upper Palatinate, in eastern provinces of Prussia in the former German Reich (i.e., Silesia, Pomerania, West Prussia, East Prussia, Posen; today mostly in Poland) and in former German-speaking areas in Bohemia and Moravia (formerly parts of the Austrian Empire, nowadays Czech Republic) in civil registers (since 1874/1876), in Catholic and Lutheran parish registers (often back to 17th century, sometimes back to 16th century) and in other files of different archives. Research in sources prior to parish registers (occasionally back to 14th century). Jewish research.

- Lectures had been hold since 1990's about historical issues (e.g., settlement in Upper Franconia, first naming of villages in 1398 etc.). Workshops about reading of old German scripts from 14th to 19th century.

- Since 1980's several essays about Upperfranconian history, in 1992 and 1998 publication of two sources from Late Middle Ages about the oldest property descriptions of the district of Bayreuth, dated 1398 resp. 1421/1424.
