I offer comprehensive genealogy services including family tree research and ancestral document retrieval. I will provide you with family charts and written stories and family sheets - all in a nicely presented format. I can translate French and Italian documents and have great experience researching in most areas of the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Europe.
Obtaining simple lists of ancestor names and birth & death dates is not fulfilling or exciting for anyone. What I treasure are family history stories. Through stories we connect to our past. They give us a sense of time and place far greater than a simple chart of ancestors. Immigration stories, work histories, family triumphs and tragedies - this is what brings your family history to life and this is what I provide. If you qualify, I can also help you become a member of one or more prestigious descendant societies, which will help you learn even more about your family history.
I believe in a collaborative approach to genealogy, working closely with clients to uncover their unique family history. I belong to most genealogical research societies in America, Canada and much of Europe and have extensive contacts in libraries; courthouses; state offices; local historical societies and many, many other wonderful places.
My wife and I have English, Italian, French-Canadian, Native American (Mohegan), Irish, Scottish, German, Polish and Czech ancestry and I have researched extensively in many other countries.
