I specialize in complex Nordic genealogy involving migration, frequent movement, and individuals who are difficult to distinguish due to common surnames or incomplete records. My work spans Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, with particular emphasis on cross-border research and Nordic immigration to North America, most commonly to the Midwest.

I have extensive experience with original Nordic church records, Norwegian bygdebøker, Swedish military, prison, and moving records, Danish-Swedish migration and estate materials, and Finnish online archival sources. I am especially well suited for cases that require correlating multiple record systems and resolving conflicting or fragmentary evidence.

In addition to archival research, I offer research-based heritage trip planning, helping clients identify the specific towns, farms, churches, and landscapes connected to their ancestors. I develop customized, historically grounded itineraries that allow clients to visit ancestral locations with confidence and context. I do not handle travel bookings.
