As a scholar of Religious Studies and a historian specializing in religiously motivated migrations from the Russian Empire and the former Soviet Union, I hold an MA and PhD from the University of Calgary, Canada, and have extensive experience working with historical and archival documents.

Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of handwritten materials, including documents written in pre-Reform Russian orthography and Old Church Slavonic script, severely damaged records, and even encrypted manuscripts.

As a professional certified translator, I can help you identify, organize, classify, and translate your family records, including vital statistics documents, correspondence, and other archival materials, from Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish into English.
