Sean Eric Clark, PhD, is a historian and genealogist based in Tucson, Arizona. He holds a PhD in late medieval and early modern European history from the University of Arizona, with a minor in Classics (Latin), and has taught Latin at the university and secondary levels. His dissertation research took him into German archives working with sources in German, Latin, and French. He brings that training in source criticism, paleography, and evidence analysis to family history research, with particular strength in Latin, German, and French-language records and early modern documents. He also offers home and property histories and public history projects. Sean is working toward the Certified Genealogist (CG) credential from the Board for Certification of Genealogists.
