Regan Richardson

Eveleth, Minnesota
United States

  • Writing /Publishing

  • Editor
As a book editor and a dedicated genealogy researcher, Regan has found that these two disciplines share remarkable similarities. Both require meticulous attention to detail, a deep appreciation for storytelling, and a relentless pursuit of accuracy. In many ways, Regan feels that her experience with genealogy has made her a better editor, enhancing her ability to shape narratives and uncover the heart of every story.

She is currently a Co-Managing Editor of Generations, the quarterly journal of the Minnesota Genealogical Society and the Managing Editor of The Arkansas Family Historian, the quarterly journal of the Arkansas Genealogical Society. Both journals accept articles on a rolling basis.

Regan supports genealogical education by hosting a monthly genealogy drop-in at her local library. (Virginia, Minnesota)

She is also a research assistant for a genealogist. Their client work brings them around the world, while their historical research projects have a Minnesota focus.
