Established in 2015, HeirPros has supported over 100 legal professionals with documented research into missing heirs, unknown beneficiaries, and complex kinship determinations.

We specialize in cases where:

• Heirs cannot be located after reasonable initial inquiry
• Estates contain unknown or distant relatives requiring identification
• Probate proceedings require sworn due diligence documentation
• Affidavits of heirship are needed for Surrogate's Court submission
• International heir tracing is required across US, Canadian, and overseas jurisdictions

Every research file is delivered with full source citations, a methodology statement, negative-result documentation, and a sworn researcher affidavit suitable for court filing. Our reports have been accepted by Surrogate's Courts, probate courts, and equivalent state-level courts across all 50 states.

Fees are billed on an hourly basis only. HeirPros does not accept contingency, percentage-of-recovery, or finder's-fee arrangements. This pricing model preserves estate value, eliminates conflict of interest, and aligns with the ethics standards of the Association of Professional Genealogists.
