I provide professional genealogical research for clients seeking to uncover their French ancestry, reconstruct family histories, and investigate complex genealogical questions.
I am based just outside Paris. I specialize in French civil and parish registers, notarial, military, census, land, newspaper, and other archival records. I work primarily with clients in North America who need expert guidance navigating France’s extensive and sometimes challenging archives.
My research is thorough, evidence-based, and tailored to each project, with particular attention to accurately identifying individuals, resolving conflicting evidence, and placing family histories in their historical context.
I have a particular interest in historical photographs, newspapers, postcards, and other pictorial sources.
I also assist genealogists and other researchers based outside France who need in-person access to non-digitized records, including locating, consulting, and obtaining copies of archival documents.
My services focus on historical and documentary research and do not include DNA genealogy or research into living relatives.
