Mark Cross became interested in genealogy at the age of 12. That's when he read an unpublished and unsourced family tree by a distant relative, that included a transcribed letter written by an ancestor about his adventures fighting for the Union in the Civil War.
After college, he started doing his own research and became hooked. When he discovered a link to a Mayflower passenger and a Revolutionary War Patriot, he decided to get more educated and experienced, and has joined
the Sons of the American Revolution and
the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.
I can help you find your family's story.

- Anonymous Testimonials from Jamboree 2021 for Mark Cross as Genealogy Lecturer:
One of the best speakers, educators, presenters I've ever heard! I will go wherever Mark Cross is! This was perfect for Advanced Beginners and I learned so much as an Advanced Intermediate genealogist!
...he was a superb speaker, with great information which I know I'll take some time to digest and follow up on.
One of the best presenters I have heard at any conference. Thanks and many thanks for the resources and input on your resources.
Mark Cross took a subject and made it VERY INTERESTING. His presentation was inspiring and has made me rethink my approach to research and the need for proper documentation.
Very well presented and interesting. Very relevant. I would like to see more of this presenter
I think we’ve had other land topics but none that I remember covering it the way you did and how early lands were parceled in plats etc.
