He has over 20 years of professional experience, and has specialized in forensic genealogy since 2017, completing over 2,500 billable hours in probate, kinship research and quiet title cases for attorneys, and military repatriation cases for the U.S. Department of Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency.
He currently serves as Adjunct Professor at the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Science, University of New Haven, where he teaches Traditional Genealogy Methods, as part of the Certificate in Forensic Genetic Genealogy graduate program.
He also serves as the current Vice President of the Association of Professional Genealogists' Forensic Genealogy Special Interest Group.
Mark also specializes in unknown parentage and adoption cases, including DNA consulting, as well as New England and New York family history, lighthouse keeper research, and Mayflower and Revolutionary War lineages. His clients include the Newbury Street Press at New England Historic Genealogical Society, Boston.
