• Family History Research

I have been interested in genealogy since I was a child when I helped my Mother research her family.  Over the course of several years and 40-courses taken at the International Institute of Genealogical Studies, I graduated in 2021 from their American Studies program and was awarded the Professional Learning Certificate Genealogical Studies post-nominal (PLCGS).  My area of expertise is the Southern United States, particularly in North Carolina and Virginia.  For 6-years I served as the Registrar for a lineage society, helping prospective members with research.
