The History Hunter (Kristin Dennis) is a historical researcher and genealogist based in Texas. Kristin’s passion for history began with a love of historical photography, sparked by weekends spent browsing flea markets in search of forgotten faces. As her collection grew, so did her desire to understand the people behind the photos and the times they lived in. This curiosity led her from photo preservation into deeper historical research, and ultimately to genealogy—where technology and storytelling merged through online genealogical resources.
Today, Kristin combines her expertise in historical photography and genealogy to help others explore their family histories. She offers analysis of vintage photo collections, providing insights into clothing, photographic methods, and historical context that bring ancestral stories to life and add rich detail to family research.
