My love for family stories began years ago when I accompanied my grandparents to the family cemeteries each Memorial Day. As we worked to clean up our ancestors' gravesites, my grandparents shared their stories. That early experience taught me the value of the threads that tie us to the past. Today, I help students and clients pick up those threads and learn to weave their own family narratives.
I am an Accredited Genealogist® professional specializing in England research, helping students and clients trace their family roots. With a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Family History Research, I apply thorough historical research methods, record analysis, and evidence-based methodology to help individuals connect to their ancestors. My research expertise spans the British Isles and United States, utilizing both traditional records and modern genetic genealogy techniques.
I also teach genealogy classes in the community, making complex research concepts accessible to learners at all levels. My teaching approach emphasizes practical skills that students can immediately apply to their own family history research. I work with clients facing challenging research questions, from breaking through brick walls to verifying lineages and documenting family stories. Each project receives careful attention to detail and adherence to genealogical proof standards.
