Kent Barnett is a genealogy practitioner and oral historian committed to ethical research, accurate documentation, and the responsible preservation of family and community histories. He completed the Oral History Training Institute at the Science History Institute, receiving advanced instruction in legal and ethical frameworks, informed consent, interview methodology, project planning, transcription, metadata creation, and the long‑term preservation of analog and digital materials.
