Kelly Cornwell is a Professional Genealogist, Family History Tutor and Speaker, with over 25 years experience of researching family histories across the UK and Australia.  Based on the border of Suffolk and Essex.  She can easily access both counties' archives, along with those in London where a good deal of her research experience has been focused.

With a special interest in Transported Convicts, Kelly has presented talks to the Society of Genealogists, the Society for One-Place Studies, AGRA, the Family History Federation’s Really Useful Show, and many local history groups.

She graduated with Distinction in both the Intermediate and Advanced Pharos Family History Skills & Strategies Certificate programmes, and is a strong advocate for continuing professional development.  Kelly is a member of the team of Pharos Tutors where she runs several courses including: 'Using Social Media for Family History', 'Professional Genealogist – Become one, become a better one', 'Digging Deeper: Mastering Online Genealogy Research', and 'Getting the most from The National Archives (TNA) Website'.  She is also the Student Mentor for the Pharos Advanced Certificate programme.

As a Member of AGRA (the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives), Kelly sits on Council, and volunteers as the Chair of Events.
