Family histories can be complex woven tapestries that shine a light on our ancestors, their extraordinary lives, struggles, hardships, joys, and accomplishments. It gives us perspective and context, therefore it is imperative that their stories be memorialized for future generations. We stand on their shoulders and they have helped to shape who we are today. We are here to assist you in researching your family history and weaving together a narrative of their lives. Please keep in mind that each case is unique and no two are alike. We will discuss any questions that you may have and a research question/hypothesis will be formulated. The scope of work will be discussed and a cost analysis will be performed. Our services include on-site and off-site repository research; document retrieval; in-depth document inspection, review, and analysis; preparation of a professionally written report.

Testimonials
"Kate has provided in depth, concise, and professional information on our family and genealogy. She was able to provide information that we had never heard before. Highly recommend Patriot Sleuth" - Ginni A. *****
"An amazing profession and professional. Kate succeeded in not only finding one of my great great... grandparents who fought in the revolutionary war, but she found over 5 that I'm a direct dependent of, and helped me to get all proof and paperwork in order to become a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. We are currently working on my Mayflower ancestry. Highly recommend Kate and Patriot Sleuth!" - Kelly K. *****
"Kate uses all her genealogy education and knowledge to search her way through obscure records to find any clues necessary to identify your missing ancestor. I engaged her to do some research into a very common name and she was able to conclusively identify the correct man. Not an easy task. She uses her talents to create a unique case report for her clients--one they are happy and proud to share. Highly recommend her services." - Donna B. *****

Learning about yourself thru genealogy is fascinating. Highly recommend! She's the best." - Ashley M. *****
"I found Kathryn online, and from our very first conversation, she was kind, helpful, and incredibly encouraging. She guided me through a sensitive and emotional search with such compassion and understanding, making me feel comfortable and supported every step of the way. Kathryn is a true wealth of knowledge and has a wonderful way of explaining things clearly and thoughtfully. She also helped me uncover and better understand parts of my own heritage that I never knew about. She’s warm, genuine, reliable, and so easy to talk to — always responding quickly and with care. I’m truly grateful for everything she’s done for me and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable genealogist." - Erin C. *****
"Smartest lady around! Can dig up almost anything!!" - E.H. Ross *****
"I was looking for a qualified professional genealogist to look over a proof argument. Patriot Sleuth came through and in a timely manner; I'm very glad I got in touch. Thank you, Kathryn!" - Michael H. *****
"I was so excited to work with Kate on my genealogy! She was able to trace my family’s roots all the way back to the 1600s!!! It seems as though all the missing puzzle pieces were finally found! She is so knowledgeable about all of this! Leave it to Kate and save yourself years of research!" - Leah P. *****
"Kathryn did extensive family history research to find a 9 x great grandfather who had left Suffolk, England with his wife and young son in 1634 on a ship named the "Elizabeth". They were among some of the founding members of Watertown, Massachusetts who left England during the "Great Migration" seeking religious freedom from persecution under King Charles I and the Anglican Church. The documents found relating to this research were eye opening beyond belief and helped us to understand our family history all the more. She was also able to uncover several patriots who fought in the American Revolutionary War, making us and future generations eligible for membership in the NSDAR (National Society Daughters of the American Revolution), SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) and many other societies. We highly recommend Kathryn and Patriot Sleuth Genealogy for anyone looking to research their family history and break down brick walls for difficult research." - A.G. *****
