I hold the Postgraduate Diploma in Genealogical Studies from Strathclyde University. I’m a Member of The Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives (AGRA) and the Register of Qualified Genealogists (RQG).

I have over 16 years’ experience undertaking professional genealogy research. I specialise mainly in Jewish family history and in UK and German-Jewish research, as well as Jewish immigration transmigration and emigration records for families who came to and through the UK on their way from Eastern Europe to the USA, Canada, Australia and elsewhere.

I lead the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain’s German Special Interest Group also lead on Education and mentoring, as well as organising the forward speaker programme. I undertake volunteer work with several organisations, helping the descendants of Holocaust Survivors to trace their family history, working closely with the Association of Jewish Refugees and the Wiener Holocaust Library. I was one of the leaders of JewishGen’s German SIG from 2009-19 and still moderate their lively Facebook Group.

Jewish genealogy and post Holocaust, German-Jewish and UK research

I have written several articles for the UK-based genealogy press.

I give regular talks on Jewish, UK and German-Jewish genealogy topics both around the UK and beyond. I have also participated in local history seminars in Germany (in German). I have delivered and presented a monthly genealogy education programme to the UK’s Jewish genealogical society members every month since October 2008.

I can visit archives and repositories in the London UK area, on request.
