Jaymie Middendorf is a genealogist with a passion for empowering others to discover their family history. She believes deeply in the power and connection of genealogy research.

Jaymie has deep roots in Chicago, and relocated to Denver to serve the Mile High City as the Genealogy and Special Collections Librarian at the Denver Public Library. Her leadership experience includes participating in different roles in state and national societies. Jaymie currently volunteers as the President of the National Danish-American Genealogical Society. She received the Anton J. Cermak Builder Award from the Czech and Slovak American Genealogy Society of Illinois in 2018, and she's a regular contributor to The Colorado Genealogist published by the Colorado Genealogical Society.
