I run Skeleton Files in Spring, Texas: genealogy research done from original records, with every conclusion tied to the document that supports it.
My focus is Texas and northern Mexico (Tamaulipas and Nuevo Leon), working in Spanish-language parish and civil records, and I take cases from any country, including the records behind citizenship by descent. I find, read and document the records; whether someone qualifies for citizenship is for the consulate or an immigration lawyer to decide.
What a client gets: a sourced research report, digital copies of every record, a research trail that includes the dead ends, and, depending on the package, a private family website, a printed binder and a written family narrative. I use AI to read and cross-reference records faster, but nothing goes into a report unless a record supports it.
My own case file on the priest Padre Island is named for, Padre Jose Nicolas Balli, is public at skeletonfiles.com/cases/padre-balli/. Questions: hello@skeletonfiles.com.
