• Family History Research

I grew up in Aberdeen, Mississippi, my father's hometown.  My mother was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts.  Those facts alone handed me a fascinating childhood.  My bedtime stories were neat tales of my ancestors and their adventures.  I took them for granted and never asked the questions that would have helped me today.  Thankfully my mother was still alive when I began my research.  Lucky for me, my adventurous maternal grandmother wrote what was going on in her life, and she was a "keeper" of it all!  Needless to say, my personal resources are priceless.  My grandmother is my inspiration!  I am finally settling down to write about her.
