As an adoptee, my Genealogy journey began in 2001, when I began the search for my biological mother. After years of research, persistence, and more than a few twists and turns, I finally found my biological mother about ten years later. I had never met one of my grandfathers and after hearing about my paternal grandfather, I began to search for him, with very little information. I was able to find him through an Aunt I didn't even know existed, in 2023.

I know the feeling of wondering where you came from. I know the excitement of finally finding the missing pieces. That is exactly why I love helping others find their answers.

I am primarily self taught and have built my skills through years of hands on research, continued education, courses, classes, webinars, and daily practice.

I currently volunteer with two genealogical organizations, including Adoption Angels, helping adoptees use DNA to find their biological families and Wolf pack DNA, who specialize in Genetic and Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy.

Genetic genealogy is where my passion really comes alive. I love following the clues, connecting DNA matches, building family trees, researching records, and watching seemingly unrelated pieces finally connect.

Every match has a story. Every record could hold a clue. Sometimes, all it takes is finding that one missing piece.
