I take any courses, classes, and webinars I can to ensure I'm keeping up with all the new methods and ideas as they come along and keeping my skills sharp!

I also volunteer for a few Genealogical groups. One being the Adoption Angels, which uses Genetic Genealogy to help adoptee's find their biological families. Being an adoptee myself, it's so rewarding being able to help others find their biological families.

I am mostly self-taught, starting in 2001, when I was searching for my biological mother online. Finding my paternal family was much more difficult but I really wanted to meet my paternal grandfather and although it was hard, I didn't give up. I remember the pride and excitement I felt when I finally found him after searching for so long. Now, my goal is to help others answer the questions they may have or solve those family mysteries. I want to make others feel that excitement I felt when I found my biological family.

I am skilled in Genetic Genealogy and my opinion is, that's what makes everything fun! Using DNA to verify connections, even if they're small. Being able to build out family trees through the use of DNA and Traditional genealogical research. Using different methods, charts and triangulation to verify ancestors, utilizing all of the different tools we have access to now. This is my passion. Putting all the pieces together to tell someone's story is very rewarding, especially when the person you pieced together is a part of the person you're helping.

Let me help you find the excitement in your family history!
