Genealogy has been my passion for many years, starting back in the 1990’s when I first went to look for my grandmother in the census, at the Wilkes University library (on microfilm before any records were online). It was like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I found her and I was hooked.
Since that day, I have taken educational courses to learn about the research standards for a Professional Genealogist. I use the Genealogy Standards as my guide, conducting my research according to these standards.
My background as an Industrial Engineer, (BS Penn State) along with an MBA (Marist College) allows me to use engineering problem solving skills for genealogy. I spent many years doing problem analysis and problem resolution in both a manufacturing and healthcare environment.
My experience as the past Treasurer and volunteer at the Columbia County Historical & Genealogical Society in Bloomsburg, PA provided opportunities to be educated on records from central PA.
I currently volunteer at the Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society library in the Sigal Museum in Easton, PA, which provides me the opportunity to learn about eastern PA records.
I am ready to take on your genealogical challenge.
