I grew up in and currently reside in New England, where my genealogy research helped me identify so many of my New England ancestors, several of whom were Revolutionary War patriots and Mayflower passengers.

I spent many years conducting crime scene investigations and forensic analysis in the Los Angeles County area. For more than 20 years, genealogy was my part time hobby.

My forensic skills help me think about clues differently and see the small details that may lead to knociking down annoying brick walls.

Once I decided to turn my fun hobby into a fun full time career as a professional genealogist, I immediately began taking genealogical certificate classes, attending local lectures, webinars, and conferences so I could learn as much as possible from as many people as possible. I firmly believe in gaining and sharing knowledge. To me, earning is a lifelong pursuit.

Find out what influenced your ancestors and discover how you became you. Let me assist you in your New England research, focusing on local archives.

Donna assisted me and my daughter when we were in the process of applying for membership to the NSDAR (National Society Daughters of the American Revolution).

I had initially done some research on my own, but hit a brick wall trying to locate key documents that were needed.  Donna was able to find and secure the required documents to be submitted with our initial applications to NSDAR in Washington, DC.  Our applications were approved for that first submission and we became members of the local chapter in Rhode Island shortly afterwards.

If you need someone to assist in your research, Donna should be your first choice.  She has expert knowledge in her field and adheres to the genealogical guidelines for standards, proof, and ethics per the Board for Certification of Genealogists.   - Kate O.

I highly recommend Donna as a go-to genealogist to work on your family trees.  Donna's expertise rests with knowing where to look for specific information.  There are many records that are not on Ancestry and MyHertitage, but instead in special-focus archives and books. -Steve H.

I worked with Donna recently and had an excellent experience.  Donna was timely and helpful in retrieving some death certificates for my company in Connecticut.  She was communicative and even provided additional information and recommendations when the search led to some unexpected finings. Would highly recommend. - Katy B.
