I am an experienced researcher specializing in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and migrations outward from those locations. I occasionally accept speaking/teaching engagements for societies, conferences and institutes on New England research, research and writing standards, and effective research strategies for the industrial era of the 1800s, as well as tech, publishing, and organization-related topics.  I hold the credential of Certified Genealogist® and serve as co-editor of the National Genealogical Society Quarterly
