Family has always been important to me, including those who came before. There are those I know (presently) and those I desire to know (from the past). My curiosity about my ancestors becomes stronger each day. Each fascinating story fills in the gaps of time. Their strengths and weaknesses remind me of my own. Each of their stories helps me analyze my own story. Many of them did the best they could with what they had. My greatest desire is to do the same.

I am an entrepreneur at heart with an incredible number of interests and an expanding mindset; creative, analytical and strong in recognizing patterns. Genealogical research, information gathering, analysis and writing. Civil engineering, land surveying, legal descriptions, reading/drawing land maps and construction background.

Over thirty years of experience researching land records. Over twelve years of experience running a survey crew, finding/setting property corners, writing legal descriptions and drawing land plats/maps.  My specialty is the Public Land Survey System (PLSS), synonymous with the Government Survey System and Rectangular Survey System.

I am familiar with publishing via Acres USA Magazine who printed my articles on edible and medicinal wild plants for four years.

I ran a survey crew (worked directly under counsel of three different old school licensed Land Surveyors), created plats/maps, wrote legal descriptions, worked with GPS coordinates, USGS quadrangle maps, contours and aerial photographs for over twelve years.  I can create ancestral property maps of high publishing value for books, magazines, reports, etc.  My survey system specialty is the Public Land Survey System (PLSS), synonymous with the Government Survey System and the Rectangular Survey System.  In addition to the PLSS , I recently completed a seventy-eight page ancestral land reconstruction project/report in north west Georgia (1832 Cherokee Land Lottery).
