Danni Altman-Newell has been an active genealogy researcher for over 20 years. She currently volunteers as a daily operations volunteer and in the Research Center of the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City. Danni is a graduate of GenProof Study Group 48 and ProGen 28. She holds memberships in the Association of Professional Genealogists, the Heartland APG Chapter, the National Genealogical Society, the Illinois State Genealogical Society, the Johnson County (Kansas) Genealogical Society, Southern California Genealogical Society, and the Topeka (Kansas) Genealogical Society. She has also been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution since 2014 and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 2003. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Topeka (Kansas) Genealogical Society. She attends national and regional conferences as well as many webinars to enhance her current skill set and she strives to stay current on new practices and technologies.

Strategically located in the Midwest with the ability to access records across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Nebraska. She is also experienced in research in North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Offering a range of services from single record pulls to extensive research projects which can be customized to the client's specific needs. In-depth understanding of many fraternal organization structures and records. Regular research trips are made to the National World War I Museum & Memorial Research Center, NARA Kansas City and St. Louis (including the National Personnel Records Center), the Kansas State Historical Society, and The State Historical Society of Missouri.
