The variety of topics that Christine presents cover almost every aspect of family history research. Her presentations will give insight and knowledge to everyone, from the beginner to the expert genealogist. She is delighted to present in-person or virtually at a Library, Genealogy or Historical Society.
Christine is a long time member of the Whittier Area Genealogical Society (WAGS) and she is currently the Program Director. In addition to WAGS, she is also a member of the Tualatin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Society of Daughters of Holland Dames and the Genealogy Speakers Guild.
Her interest in genealogy began in 1977 with the airing of the TV mini-series “Roots”. Christine's enthusiasm was piqued when she was given a typed pedigree chart, commissioned by her maternal grandfather, of her Dutch heritage from the New Netherlands in the 1650’s. She is a native Californian, a graduate of UCLA and has recently retired to pursue her genealogy interest full time.
