I am a Professional Genealogist living in New York near the Canadian border which is handy as my main research focus is French Canadian genealogy. Having a large audience to talk to about genealogy through my monthly columns has been a joy for me and my husband as the constant genealogy chatter can have his very patient eyes rolling quite often. I am Board Chairman and Vice President of my local genealogy society as well as a member of numerous societies including Associate of Professional Genealogists (APG), National Genealogical Society (NGS), New York Genealogical and Biographical Society (NYG&B).
