Carol Carman is a professional genealogist who has been researching her family for over fifty years. She has taught genealogy classes for the Peer Learning Partnership at the Anne Arundel Community College and at several county senior centers for many years. She has attended many national, state, and local genealogy conferences. She is a past president of the Anne Arundel Genealogical Society, a former board member for the East Coast Genetic Genealogy Conference, and a vice president of the Mid-Atlantic Germanic Society, a German genealogy society. She has done contract work for Legacy Tree Genealogists, Inc. and several private clients. She has lectured for several genealogy societies and conferences and the Allen County Public Library. Her personal research has taken her to many US states, England, and Germany.
