My name is Bridgette Skinner LeFevre. I am the owner of Roots Detectives, a genealogy research business. I focus my research on the United States and the British Isles. I have a passion for great mysteries, which led me to genealogical work and to understanding my ancestors. I have been actively researching genealogy for almost twenty years. I have earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Family History from Brigham Young University Idaho. I frequently attend genealogical conferences. I have authored seven Family History biography books. I also had the opportunity to participate in multiple episodes of The Travel Channel's "The Dead Files." I have used DNA coupled with research to solve cases of unknown paternity and DNA methods to break through brick walls. I am the mother of two amazing children and the wife of a wonderfully supportive husband.
