Annie is passionate about the documentation, dynamics, and creativity of human lives and families across generations. She's been fascinated with histories, biographies, aged photos, antiques, vintage design and decor, old homesteads and historic architecture, since she can remember. Old West and Victorian times are closer to an obsession, and she's often wished she was born 100 years earlier or could at least visit! Just for fun (and on a dare)—with a simple photo of herself—AI fulfilled part of her wish (see sidebar/header image)! In more realistic ways, AI has benefited genealogists and family historians in many ways, and for many years now—whether we know it, like it, or not. We just need to use wisdom, discernment, and integrity when utilizing it...that is...when we're aware of it. Yep, it's everywhere.

In 1991, Annie began her quest into genealogy to help her legally blind neighbor, and was quickly hooked! Research and writing always came naturally, so her interests and studies culminated in becoming a genealogist in 2002. She loves her work and is very skilled at researching, documenting, and compiling connections in family heritage. Her skills have been sought after in the public/private sectors, county/state agencies, private investigators, cemeteries, trustees, and recruited by AncestryProGenealogists®. Annie has deep roots in Scotland, Ireland, England, Denmark, North Carolina, Tennessee, Utah—the settlement of the American West. These are also some of her geographic specialties.

A native of Utah, Annie lived in Wasatch, Summit, and Utah counties before moving to Montana in 1996—home for nearly half her life now. She and her husband, Paul, raised and love a large family of hers, his, theirs and others' precious children. They have made Ravalli County their home since 1997.
