[APG Public List] WWI Draft Card Registration Question

Since the requirement for men to register who were born between the years
1873 and 1900 (the collective span of birth years for the various draft
registrations) was before most states required birth certificates, there
would not be any way to prove their date of birth other than by attesting to
it which is what the form required by virtue of their signature.

Subject: [APG Public List] WWI Draft Card Registration Question
Can someone tell me if an individual who was required to register for the
military draft for WWI, had to provide proof of birth; month, day & year?
