Hello, I got  the invitation for this event right yesterday and surely will 
attend. In fact I  have nothing to do with the organisation.  
Alzey is  located at the far north eastern edge of Rheinland-Pfalz along 
the Autobahn  (Highway) from Kaiserslautern to Mainz. The lectures will be 
held in German  (Delaney) and English (Yoder).  
Maybe someone  of you will be able to attend as well.

2009 – 300  years of mass emigration from Rheinland-Pfalz" 
5.30 p.m.  welcome adress by Dr. Michael Werner, chairman of German 
Pennsylvanish Working  Group (Deutsch-Pennsylvanischer Arbeitskreis) 
5.45 p.m.  Music with " Reinig, Braun und Boehm": Songs and dances from the 
Palatinate,  Alsace and Pennsylvania 
6 p.m.  Lecture: Prof. Dr. John Delaney, Kutztown University, PA: 
" Pennsylvania  German Activities in Berks County and the development of 
the Pennsylvania German  Minor Program at Kutztown University  
6.45 more  music with " Reinig, Braun und Boehm" 
7 p.m.: Award  of honorary membership of German Pennsylvanish Working Group 
for Prof. Dr. Don  Yoder (Devon, PA) 
7.30 p.m.:  Lecture: Prof. Dr. Don Yoder „Introducing Pennsylfawnisch: 
America’s Special  German Mudderschprooch“  
8.45 until  9.30 p.m. more music with " Reinig, Braun und Boehm"
