Biography:
Watching my mother, aunt and grandparents do family research, I caught the family's genealogy bug over 30 years ago. For me, looking for clues to research questions is like reading an incredible mystery novel! After teaching for over a decade, I realized that both research and writing were my true passions and calling. I have experience researching throughout the United States using a large variety of records, repositories and methods. Once I caught the DNA bug, I began to incorporate its use in my research using various programs for chromosome mapping and matching. I will provide services for family lineage research, single record or single research question searches, transcription or translation, adoption cases, and instruction on various genealogical topics including the use and understanding of DNA. As a published author, I am also able to provide expertise in writing or editing your family story. I use only the highest standards of research, providing sound sources in every step of the process.

Service Description:
I further the cause of genealogy by volunteering many hours to transcription and translation of documents for Family Search. I also volunteer at WikiTree as a mentor, researcher, Adoption Angel and DNA Project coordinator.
