A Research Guru

Biography:
A Research Guru is the culmination of my perpetual curiosity, my love for family, and my passion for exploring historical records and family histories. My genealogical journey began with an attempt to prove that I am Native American. I was instantly addicted. Before long I was volunteering to index records and learning everything I could about genealogy and my family. I am simply awestruck when I "meet" a new ancestor. To me one of the best facets of genealogy is that it demands that the genealogist to continually expand his or her level of knowledge. I launched my research services business in 2008, it has provided me with the opportunity to spend hundreds of hours in courthouses and recorders offices and proven an immeasurable contribution to my research skills and detail orientation. Adding genealogy research to my professional offerings is the next step in my journey. Making connections to my past paved the road to my future. Learning about my ancestors is actually learning about me and it has honestly helped me evolve into the best version of myself thus far. I am excited to learn about YOUR family, and I sincerely look forward to treating them as I would my own.

Service Description:
My services include DNA interpretation, and applications services, consultation services, adopted/unknown parentage cases, family history research/reconstruction, family tree-building, and Southwest Native American research. My fields of concentration are in Idaho, New Mexico, Southwest United States, Northwest United States, 17th -21st centuries. Because everybody's heritage is so diverse, it is inevitable that the genealogy trail often leads you out of the field of concentration, therefore, I am happy to provide research all over the United States, including immigration/emigration
