I have a BA in English & Secondary Education from The College of William and Mary and an MA in Linguistics (sociohistorical linguistics and second language acquisition) and TESOL from the University of South Carolina. I taught in Krakow, Poland, for a year on a Fulbright grant and now teach English and ESOL at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology in Alexandria, VA. I've been doing genealogy actively since 2008 and have done extensive research at the London Metropolitan Archives, London Guildhall Library, British Library, and Westminster City Archives, in addition to the Library of Congress.
