Ms. Butler is a professional genealogist in Texas, helping people discover their Jewish and South Eastern USA Family History. With a background in anthropology, archaeology and historical research, Ms. Butler brings a unique and valuable perspective to genealogical family research. Twenty-five years of experience as a researcher allow her to understand how to access and draw on unconventional primary and traditional resources. These skills allow her to create multiple layers of research depth for her clients to choose from. They also aid her in going back further than most genealogists are accustomed to. She believes that your tree is a precious heirloom and a family treasure. Many of her ideal clients are people who are undergoing conversion or return to Judaism. Numerous clients come from displaced or migrant Jews in the Southern US and South America. She is not limited to this population, however. Ms. Butler has expertise in historical artifact analysis from the Southeast US, and has done migration and cartographic studies of civil war and colonial populations. Please reach out to her with your walls, history mysteries, family legends, and artifacts.
