I earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the State University of NY, College at Fredonia, with a minor in Political Science. Currently, I am one course away from completing my MBA candidacy, with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Although I have spent nearly 20 years working in the field of human resources, I have decided to turn my focus to my true passion. Genealogy. As the founder of Ancestry Investigation Services, I bring nine years of family research experience to clients seeking a variety of genealogical services. My firm's specialties include, but are not limited to, research related to New York and New England ancestry. Within this area, we offer clients training, document & evidence analysis, family charting, and application development for various lineage societies, such as the General Society for Mayflower Descendants and the Sons/ Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition to my research activities, I also conduct various training and workshops within upstate New York and western Vermont. I seek to assist clients in, not only discovering their roots, but their story. To me, genealogy is much more than names and dates. I seek to offer my clients insight into their family history. By digging into each record and document that is sourced, my goal is to go beyond the vital statistics and uncover the essence of the individuals described within them.
