Access Your Roots
My name is Mariah Averett. I received a Bachelors degree in Family History--Genealogy from Brigham Young University in 2015. My passion for genealogy has increased exponentially in recent years and my favorite pass-time is researching and learning about those who lived long ago. In the past, I worked as a research assistant for the Mormon Texts Project and on the Nauvoo Community Project with BYU. More recently, I was employed as the research manager of the Welsh Mormon Project. With these research and writing skills, I have put in numerous hours of research and had the opportunity to write many family histories and research reports. I am also working towards becoming a certified genealogist.
